SEO Link Inspector is a browser extension that helps users inspect hyperlinks on the webpage they are currently viewing. This policy explains how information is handled when the extension is used.

Information processed

When a user explicitly clicks the SEO Link Inspector extension icon, the extension temporarily reads hyperlink information from the active webpage, including link destinations and rel attribute values in the main document and accessible open Shadow DOM. This information is required to classify links as internal, external, dofollow, nofollow, UGC, or sponsored.

Local processing

All inspection takes place locally in the user's browser. Link information and inspection results are not sent to the developer or to any third party.

Data collection and storage

SEO Link Inspector does not collect, transmit, retain, sell, or share personal information, browsing history, webpage content, link URLs, or inspection results. It does not use analytics, advertising trackers, cookies, remote APIs, or user accounts.

Inspection state exists only in the current webpage. It is removed when the user turns the inspector off, reloads the page, navigates away, or closes the tab.

Permissions

• activeTab provides temporary access to the current tab only after the user clicks the extension icon.
• scripting injects the extension's packaged inspection script and stylesheet into the active tab.

These permissions are used solely to provide the link inspection feature. The extension does not request persistent access to all websites.

Remote code and third parties

The extension does not load or execute remote code and does not use third-party services. All JavaScript and CSS required for the extension are included in the installed package.

Children's privacy

SEO Link Inspector does not knowingly collect information from children or from any other user.

Changes to this policy

If the extension's information-handling practices change, this policy will be updated before those changes are released. The effective date at the top of this page will also be updated.
